Summary
SummaryI’m Bella, a pastor’s daughter who thought I’d always be wrapped in worship and worship alone. But when I was twelve, my older brother passed away, and my world shattered. For five years I lived behind a mask—crying myself to sleep, battling depression, suicidal thoughts, and an eating disorder that nearly stole my life. In 2017 God sent Eduardo into my life, and my mom nudged me toward ‘More Light,’ a church therapy group. During one breakthrough session I had a vision: rain, thunder—and a soft tap on my shoulder inviting me to dance with Jesus in the storm. At first I shrugged it off, hardened by pain. But years later, God reminded me: He was there the whole time, waiting. I chose to let Him heal me, and today I’m free—no more eating disorder, no more nightly tears. I still miss my brother, but I’m learning to live again, to laugh again, to dance in the rain with Him.
If you made it here, thanks for watching. Sorry for all the long pauses and tears. 🙂
For school, I had to do a project and share my testimony. This is just a glimpse of my story. If you were able to watch to the end, thank you so much. God loves you and wants you to dance with Him, even if it’s pouring rain..
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” – Joshua 1:9
