They risk everythingโ€”sold into slavery, hunted by traffickers, even facing execution if caught. I travel alone, changing drivers and routes, trusting God prepares each step. At secret gatherings we worship, laugh, and over time their hearts soften to Jesusโ€™s love. Yet sometimes I lie awake fearing one of themโ€”or even the spy among usโ€”has been discovered and sent back to horrors we cannot imagine. Rebecca* is a fieldworker in China that helps people who have escaped from North Korea, but not without risk. Even after escaping, believers from North Korea face a lot of danger.
