Summary
SummaryI grew up in a Christian home in the Dominican Republic, yet something was missingβI knew about God, but I didnβt truly know Him. One morning at 5 AM, I couldnβt sleep, so I went to the window and just spoke to Him as a friend. That moment changed everything! Through prayer, God gave me the courage to quit a job that defined my worth, and although I felt lost, He reminded me, βYou are what I say you are.β Two years ago I moved to the United States and battled loneliness and social anxiety, praying for community. Bit by bit, He prepared me, and today Iβm surrounded by friends. Iβve learned that human doing isnβt my identityβGod is. Now, my relationship with Jesus is living, personal, and growing stronger every day! π±β¨
A testimony of growing up in the church but realizing that religion is not the same as a relationship with Jesus.
Verse of the day
He was in the world, and the world was made through him, yet the world did not know him. He came to his own, and his own people did not receive him. But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God. John 1: 10-13
