I’m Chris. Nine years ago, I attended Minnesota Adult & Teen Challenge to overcome my addiction to drugs and alcohol. My journey began after enduring deep family trauma when my older brother committed suicide, which led me to seek solace in substance use from a young age. Despite numerous relapses, time in prison, and the constant cycle of addiction, I eventually found freedom when a counselor laid hands on me and prayed for me at Teen Challenge. That moment marked a spiritual breakthrough, and since then, I have experienced a transformation that restored my identity and purpose. Today, I stand as a testimony of freedom, knowing that God’s Spirit has lifted my burdens and set me on a new path.
