Summary
Iβm Anderson. I was born into a family steeped in witchcraft and voodoo in Bahia, Brazil, and grew up hungry and afraidβmy fatherβs alcoholism and neighborhood violence haunted me. By age 17 I was selling cocaine and living with a pistol on my waist to survive. One night, weary of murder and addiction, I met missionaries who proclaimed, βJesus loves you.β In that moment on October 15, 2007, I surrendered my life to Christ and felt chains break off my soul. Now I roam the slums of Rio de Janeiro, building bridges with love and sharing the hope of the Gospel with every broken heart I meet. πβ¨β€οΈ
