Summary

My name is Alexa Balance. I was born in Phoenix, Arizona, and after losing my birth mother to renal cancer when I was eight, I was adopted by my aunt and uncle. I experienced deep loneliness, anxiety, and a form of depression from the abuse and loss in my early life. My life began to change when a caring teacher introduced me to Jesus, and later, a small church in Kentucky became the place where my faith started to take root. Through the love and guidance I received there, I moved from being a grieving daughter in darkness to becoming a daughter of grace. Today, I live with hope and a transformed heart, and I share my testimony to encourage others that no matter the depth of your pain, God’s grace can restore your life.
