Summary

SummaryI’m Abby, an Open Doors local partner, and I’ve witnessed the aftermath of deadly violence in May 2023 across Manipur, Northeast India. Villages were burned, families torn apart, and many Christians targeted simply for their faith. Yet, even as homes and churches lay in ruins, I saw a community clinging to hope in God’s promises. I travel for over 15 hours through jungles and rough roads, carrying groceries, providing housing aid, medical help, and most importantly, my prayers and encouragement. It’s risky, but I believe God has called me to bring practical care and spiritual comfort to His people. Together, we stand strong, rebuild our lives, and give all glory to the Lord for every small victory.
