Despite always having a roof over my head and food to eat, I felt emotionally abandoned and unsafe. When I attended a church event and experienced a powerful altar call, I encountered Jesus. That moment changed everything. I began to cling to God’s love through prayer and found a path to healing and restoration. Today, I share my story to encourage others facing similar hardships, and to show that no matter how dark our past, God’s love can bring true healing and hope.

Deidre passionate about educating people around the harsh realities of what life was like as a young girl whose mother Katarina Macleod was trapped in the dark world of prostitution and human trafficking. She desires to see others understand that this issue not only affects the victim, but anyone close to the victim – especially her children, if she is a mother.

As a child, Deidre both watched the abuse her mother suffered and suffered abuse herself. Deidre was witness to her mothers’ addictions and has fought very hard to build a healthy life for herself.
