Hi, I’m Emily. I was raised in a busy church environment where I learned the Bible from a very young age. Despite the constant presence of faith in my life, I struggled with deep feelings of inadequacyβ€”I even cried myself to sleep, convinced I was doomed to hell because I never measured up to God’s standards. Over time, the breakup of both my family and church left me in despair, and I fell deeper into sin. I repeatedly prayed the sinner’s prayer, yet felt no change. It wasn’t until I truly repented and embraced the genuine, transformative gospel that I experienced the true freedom and healing promised by Jesus. My testimony is a call to examine whether the spirit moving in our churches is the true Holy Spirit or a false one, and a plea for us to cling to the authentic gospel that delivers us from sin.
