Summary

I was once rejected and abused from an early age—a painful journey that led me to become a people pleaser, living for my own selfish desires. Amid high school parties and even enjoying brief moments of fame on the football field, my life took a drastic turn when I experienced a terrifying, near-death shooting. In that moment of utter isolation and fear, I cried out to the God I had only heard about from scripture. By His mercy, He sent help in the form of a police officer—whom I now call an angel—to save my life. That night, when I should have perished, God intervened, marking the beginning of my true transformation and conversion to Christ. I now testify that His saving grace and loving intervention are real and powerful.
