SummaryI grew up longing to know God more deeply, and ever since I was eight, I prayed earnestly for the gift of tongues. π In my early twenties, at a Pentecostal womenβs retreat, I watched others receive this gift but felt it needed to come directly from the Lord. Years passed, and months after breaking my ankle, frustration drove me to cry out in prayer. Suddenly, God gave me an unfamiliar wordβI stepped out in faith, repeating it until a flow of heavenly language poured out of me. It was so beautiful, so undeniably His! At that very moment, He also healed my ankle instantly. π¦΅β¨ Through this journey, I learned that tongues is not just βspeaking words,β but an intimate, Spirit-filled prayer life that dispels fear and deepens our connection with Jesus.
While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit came on all who heard the message. The circumcised believers who had come with Peter were astonished that the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out even on Gentiles. For they heard them speaking in tongues and praising God. Acts 10:44β-β¬46

β’If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.
