Summary
SummaryI’m Emily 😊. As a child I felt trapped—like a girl in a dark cage with joy just beyond the bars. Demonic night-terrors, anger, and deep self-loathing convinced me God hated me. 🤦♀️
At 12, a book about the playful personality of Jesus cracked the door. I began journaling honest letters—“If You’re real, prove it!” ✍️💬 He answered gently, meeting me in my room with songs and whispers of love. 🎵💖
As a teen I was hit by mysterious neurological pain that left me bed-bound 20 hours a day. Plans for college, missions, even writing seemed dead. Yet in the storm I chose to praise—🎶 *“I’ll praise You in this storm.”*
One dawn, exhausted, I asked beside a dumpster, “Do You even see me?” Months later my parents gave me a delicate ring; instantly Jesus whispered, “I was there. I saw you.” 💍😭
That personal touch freed the four-year-old inside to trust. Eventually He led me to treatment and my health improved, but the greatest miracle was identity—learning I’m safe, loved, and beautifully His. Now I share my cage-breaking story so others meet the Light that found me. ✨🙌
