SummaryI’m Devin, and I remember sitting in Kuwait, broken under the weight of childhood molestation trauma and bound by pornography. In September 2020, the Holy Spirit whispered, ‘Pray for change,’ and though I resisted, I finally surrendered. That surrender led to a powerful Spirit encounter—speaking in tongues in an open barracks bay—and a 360° transformation. God showed me my true identity in Christ, freed me from same-sex confusion, and renewed my prayer life. Today, I’m free indeed (🙌), walking in faith, and trusting His promises, even as I still lean on Him for my thorn in the flesh.

In today’s video, I will be sharing with you guys my testimony of how God radically changed my life. If you knew me before the change and now, you can most certainly testify that I am NOT the same person.

I wholeheartedly believe that God is strategic concerning my life and all that He has planned for me to do and be. God allowed me to go through what I went through to make me, not break me. Molestation caused me to live in fear of being touched sexually, yet eventually wanting to be touched sexually throughout the years. Trying to hold on to the words instilled in me during my childhood, instead of having premarital sex, I turned to pornography. Pornography had me bound & took me further than I wanted to go. In the video I explained John 8:36 and how I still struggle. I struggle because I have the Holy Spirit. Without the Holy Spirit, I wouldn’t struggle nor deem it to be a sinful act in the sight of God. I thank God for His help daily. I really shouldn’t even say struggle but more so transitioning out of.

I dealt with same sex attraction for a few years and began to find my identity in my sexuality and worldly things. It wasn’t until I truly learned who I was in Christ that corrected my false identity. Learning who I am in Christ showed me what I needed to implement and what I needed to let go. I took on my new identity & let go of the old one. One of the BEST decisions I ever made was to live for the Lord in spirit and in truth.

I knew from THAT day forward, I would never live the same!
