During visits with my dad, I discovered he was abusing my little sisterโ€”and even Iโ€™d been manipulated without knowing it. That truth shattered my childhood trust and left me angry and hurt for years. But God didnโ€™t leave me there. He brought a loving father figure into our lives at CedarCreekโ€™s Findlay campus, and slowly I learned there are levels of love: I could forgive my dad and pray for him from a distance. Through persistent prayer and Godโ€™s sufficient graceโ€”โ€œJesusโ€™s blood has already been shedโ€โ€”I found true freedom in forgiving. Today, I love him enough to release my hurt and trust in Godโ€™s healing power. ๐Ÿ™โœจ
