At ten, I met Jesus, and at nineteen, I was baptized in the Holy Spiritโspeaking in tongues on a movie-theater parking lot! ๐ฌ๐ฅ God then called me to Bible school on Glory Road, TN, and sent me as a cook and missionary to India, where I met and married Tim via snail mail. Despite discontent washing pots, I learned to serve, laying everything at Godโs altar. ๐ฎ๐ณ๐ In 2004 we moved to Singapore, and in 2020, when our visas hung by a thread, God reminded me that His timing is perfectโHe never wastes a situation but builds on it. Today, I stand firm, trusting that every closed door was preparing me for His plan. ๐โจ
Raised in a conservative Mennonite family, Joanne OโConnell embraced faith early, and experienced the Holy Spirit after high school and attended a Bible school.
