SummaryIn my own words, I’m Nicola Mueller, a mom of four who grew up in an unchurched home and felt a void in my life. My sister and I searched for a place to belong, typed β€œchurches in Barrie” into Google, and found Connexus Church. From the moment we walked in, I sensed God’s love and forgiveness flow through me. Over several months, I drove alone praying, read devotionals, and connected with an amazing women’s small group that became family. I experienced freedom as I forgave those who hurt me, and I finally understood that Jesus’s death is the greatest gift. Today, surrounded by friends and led by our sweet leader Gail, I proclaimed Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior in baptism, celebrating a new life of faith and community.

On December 1st, we had the honour of baptizing Nicole, along with 4 other women from her small group. This is her story.
