SummaryI was born and raised in a Pentecostal church, yet I never experienced a true, personal connection with God. During my childhood and teenage years, I battled deep depression and anxiety π. In high school and college, I chased the worldβdrugs, alcohol, and fleeting pleasuresβsearching for purpose in all the wrong places. Nothing satisfied me. Then, in the midst of the pandemic, I found C3 NYC in New York City and felt a tug in my spirit to come back to Jesus. One night in my bedroom, I sensed the Holy Spirit draw me homeβHe reminded me that He is my fulfillment and that nothing else can fill the void in my heart β€οΈ. From that moment, I was on fire for Christ! I began serving and volunteering, and though my faith is being tested right now, Iβve learned that even in this waiting period, Godβs presence is my true joy π. Heβs the blessing, not the circumstances, and He will never forsake me.
