Hi, I’m Yoel. Born in Israel to a Moroccan mother and Scottish father, I grew up moving to England where my family embraced traditional Judaism. As I grew older, I began to question my faith and sought answers beyond my upbringing. At 18, while in my bedroom, I encountered the face of Jesus, which shook my beliefs. Initially dismissing it as a hallucination, I later sought deeper understanding through discussions with Judy, a Jewish believer in Jesus. This led me to race through the Bible and eventually embrace Jesus as the Messiah. My journey from Orthodox Judaism to faith in Jesus transformed my life, leading me to join the Masa project and Jews for Jesus, where I now share the gospel with Israeli backpackers around the world. Through God’s grace, I’ve found a new life and a deeper understanding of faith.
