My name is Dora Orozco. At fifteen, desperate for love and acceptance, I was lured into joining a violent street gangโ€”even though I knew the brutal initiation would mean getting beaten by six men for one minute. I had moved to Los Angeles with my mom at a young age, but later, after being relocated to Nashville, my life became a series of painful rejections: from family, from a judgmental church, and from society. The abuse and verbal attacks made me believe that God was punishing me. I spiraled into drug addiction, self-harm, and multiple suicide attempts, and in 2015 I was even diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. Then, one fateful night, I experienced a supernatural encounterโ€”shadowy figures, a voice from my dusty Bible, and a command to surrender my brokenness. By the next morning, I was miraculously healed: the pain was gone, I was walking without suffering, and my heart was restored. Today, I share my story of restoration to encourage others to find hope and transformation through Jesus.
