I grew up surrounded by turmoil, abuse, and loss. My childhood was filled with neglect, traumatic events, and even a near-fatal accident. The weight of all the lies I believed about my worth pushed me to the brinkβ€”I even contemplated ending my life. Later, the pain of my broken past drove me to strive for perfection, but that only deepened my despair. I reached a point where I had to give up my son for his well‐being, and my life seemed to have nothing left. Then, a transformative experience at a Christian camp and subsequent church attendance shattered my old way of living. I surrendered everything and allowed Jesus to redeem me. Today, I have reclaimed my family, restored my life, and experience a new song of praise every dayβ€”all because my Savior loves me unconditionally and renews me from the inside out.
