Summary
I grew up surrounded by turmoil, abuse, and loss. My childhood was filled with neglect, traumatic events, and even a near-fatal accident. The weight of all the lies I believed about my worth pushed me to the brinkโI even contemplated ending my life. Later, the pain of my broken past drove me to strive for perfection, but that only deepened my despair. I reached a point where I had to give up my son for his wellโbeing, and my life seemed to have nothing left. Then, a transformative experience at a Christian camp and subsequent church attendance shattered my old way of living. I surrendered everything and allowed Jesus to redeem me. Today, I have reclaimed my family, restored my life, and experience a new song of praise every dayโall because my Savior loves me unconditionally and renews me from the inside out.
