Over the next months I drifted into fluid buildup, cancer diagnosis, and a terrifying coma at Baylor in Dallas. Doctors once “packing me in like a severe crash victim” doubted I’d survive long enough for a transplant. Yet God sustained me—bringing Mayo to reverse course, matching a liver in four days, and guiding me through surgery. Awakening paralyzed after 45 days in bed, I wept out my “Why, God?” before sensing Jesus beside me, reminding me my mission wasn’t over. Two days before being sent to assisted living, a surge of divine strength carried me out of my wheelchair into my first step. My body healed, my spirit soared, and I know I live to proclaim His power and purpose. 🙏✨
