Summary
SummaryI used to be a farmer in Seward, Nebraska, but after retirement, I wanted to serve God in a deeper way. I joined the car ministry serving single moms and others in need through places like City Impact and the Pregnancy Center. Through practical work, like fixing cars, I got to show God’s love in action 💖.
Then I became a mentor through City Impact’s Bible Club, meeting Raymond—a vibrant, life-loving kid who just needed someone to walk with him. Our weekly hangouts became a source of joy and purpose. ✨
Another nudge from the Lord led me to knock on 44 doors in my neighborhood and invite women to a breakfast—just to share love, peace, and Jesus. That small step birthed the “If Table”—a community where we gather, eat, watch testimonies, and talk about Jesus openly. 🙌
God reminded me through Romans 12:1–2 to give Him my everyday life—my walking, working, sleeping, all of it. And He’s using someone ordinary like me to do marvelous things. 🌱
It’s not by accident that we wake up in our specific neighborhood. That we work where we do. That our conversations reveal someone specifically in need. Take your ordinary, everyday, walking around life, and lay it at the feet of Jesus.
