Hello, I’m Greg and this is my story. Growing up in a Catholic home in Beaumont, Texas, I faced countless challenges – from my mother’s alcoholism to my father’s intense expectations and eventual suicide. These tragedies left me searching for answers, turning to drugs, the counterculture, and anything I believed might fill the emptiness I felt. I worked in psychiatric hospitals even as my own life spiraled through LSD and marijuana use. Just when I was losing hope, God used a 14-year-old patient who quoted Scripture and my friend Montyβ€”whose radiant peace pointed to Jesusβ€”to show me a better way. The Bible broke through my darkness and revealed that my endless searching could only be satisfied through a relationship with Jesus Christ. I surrendered my life to Him, found freedom from addiction, and answered the call to become a missionary. Over time, I traveled the world sharing Christ, experienced the joy of a growing family, and witnessed the transforming power of God’s grace. If He could save me from such despair, He can lift anyone. All glory goes to Jesus, who truly makes all things new.
