Anne, a forensic psychologist with a doctorate, was living out a busy career and we’d just welcomed our three young children when, on April 29th, she was diagnosed with metastatic pancreatic cancerβ€”spread throughout her bones, liver, and lymph nodes. The doctors at Cedars-Sinai (and other specialists) told us the prognosis was grim and prepared us to say goodbye. For a while, we chose to live fully: traveling whenever Anne felt strong enough, treasuring moments with our kids who remained blissfully unaware of the storm raging within her body. Yet, every sleepless night and every tear we shed led us back to one truth: God held her life in His hands. On October 18th, as Anne and I sat at a taco stand, we received a call that still brings me to tearsβ€”her latest scans showed no trace of cancer. It was nothing short of a miracle. Since then, our priorities have shifted: careers no longer take precedence; family and faith do. Anne’s joy in telling strangers about her healing and my own faith growing stronger every day remind us that life is fleeting and God’s power is limitless. πŸ™Œβ€οΈ
