SummaryI grew up in Westport, County Mayo, with an alcoholic father and a lot of anger inside me. By my teens, I was rebellingโ€”expelled from school, experimenting with drugs and alcohol, and tormented by a dark, suffocating presence that even paralyzed me at night. Then one terrifying evening, I looked into my bathroom mirror and sawโ€”heardโ€”the devil himself declaring my life was over. In desperation I fell to my knees, crying out the only prayer I knew, the Our Father, and suddenly felt the tangible presence of my heavenly Father cast out that evil spirit. From that moment on, I knew God was real and loving me as His child. A few years later, on a pilgrimage to Medjugorje, I climbed Apparition Hill and encountered the living God in such a way that faith became a gift I never doubted. Soon after, in a courtroom where I faced serious charges, mercy prevailedโ€”I received community service instead of prison, a divine second chance. Now, I serve God through youth ministry in Donegal, sharing how His grace delivered me from darkness into His marvelous light.
