Summary
SummaryI’m Greg Napier, a retired firefighter from Tucson, Arizona, and I want to share how I chased the world for thirty years—only to find emptiness in depression and alcohol addiction. In October 2011, late at night in the fire station, I stumbled onto a faith channel and watched the story of Joseph. Halfway through, an overwhelming peace washed over me, and Matthew 6:33 flashed on screen: “Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.” My heart was pierced; I realized I had run my life on my own terms, turning my back on Christ for decades. But that verse wasn’t just a command—it was an invitation. I sensed Christ’s irresistible grace drawing me back. Right then, I confessed my sins, asked forgiveness, and surrendered what little was left of me. I begged Jesus not only to be my Savior but to be my Lord, to take away my addiction. He mercifully did just that—he forgave my sin, gave me new life, new purpose, and real joy. I hadn’t experienced peace in years, but now I owe everything to Christ. 🙏🔥💧
