SummaryIโ€™m Atteliah, and in April 1992 I was a shy college student craving something real. ๐ŸŽ“ I paid $20 to a Christian retreatโ€”my friend backed out, but I couldnโ€™t lose that money! ๐Ÿ’ธ At a tiny non-denominational church, people began speaking in tongues, and I knew God was there. I sneaked to the altar, closed my eyes, and suddenly felt His presence surround me. ๐Ÿ˜ญ I wept as the pastor prayed words Iโ€™d never spokenโ€”yet they were the cry of my own heart! Then He asked me to open my mouthโ€ฆhallelujah poured out, and I was filled with the Holy Spirit. ๐Ÿ”ฅ From that moment, Jesus was real to me, and I returned to my dorm in Syracuse overflowing with joy. The Lord spoke, โ€œHeโ€™s coming back,โ€ and Iโ€™ve never forgotten it. Since then, my entire familyโ€”from my mother to cousins in Buffaloโ€”have met Jesus too. ๐Ÿ™Œ God is faithful!
