Summary

SummaryI’m Atteliah, and in April 1992 I was a shy college student craving something real. πŸŽ“ I paid $20 to a Christian retreatβ€”my friend backed out, but I couldn’t lose that money! πŸ’Έ At a tiny non-denominational church, people began speaking in tongues, and I knew God was there. I sneaked to the altar, closed my eyes, and suddenly felt His presence surround me. 😭 I wept as the pastor prayed words I’d never spokenβ€”yet they were the cry of my own heart! Then He asked me to open my mouth…hallelujah poured out, and I was filled with the Holy Spirit. πŸ”₯ From that moment, Jesus was real to me, and I returned to my dorm in Syracuse overflowing with joy. The Lord spoke, β€œHe’s coming back,” and I’ve never forgotten it. Since then, my entire familyβ€”from my mother to cousins in Buffaloβ€”have met Jesus too. πŸ™Œ God is faithful!

Choir member Atteliah Williams shares during the Sunday 6pm service how as a college student she experienced the presence of God and was filled with the Holy Spirit. Features song, “Give Thanks” led by Victoria Griffin.
