Summary

SummaryNine years ago, I was just a schoolgirl in Chibok, Nigeria, when Boko Haram stormed in and kidnapped over 270 of us. They crammed us into trucks and drove for days into the Sambisa Forest. There, they tried to force us to convert to Islam. Some gave in, but many of usβ€”including meβ€”refused. We were denied food, threatened with death, but we chose to fast and pray. We held tightly to Jesus, even when they said they’d bring holy men to kill us.

After three excruciating years, by God’s grace, I was released. But many of my sisters are still missing. My mother still weeps, crushed by the uncertainty of my sister's fate. Every time she looks at her photo, pain floods her heart πŸ’”.

But through it all, God has not left us. I’m alive. I'm free. And we continue to pray πŸ™ for the others to come home. God is our strength, our refuge, our hope πŸ’«. Please pray with us.

In 2014, Boko Haram kidnapped over 270 girls from their school in Chibok in northern Nigeria. Nine years on, nearly 100 girls are still missing, and their parents are in agony. Please continue to pray for these girls and their families.
