Catalin’s childhood was dominated by his time in a Romanian orphanage after his mother abandoned him. Life as an orphan was often cruel. After some time, Catalin met his mother, and she shared with him how she had attempted to end his life by jumping from a tree. Catalin suffered greatly, knowing he had been rejected. Sometime later, child services placed him in the custody of his auntie, and he discovered that she was an unloving and uncaring woman who neglected Catalin. But a turning point came when he visited a nearby Church, where he felt God’s love through the Christian believers who warmly accepted him. God was healing his heart and God was transforming his life.
