Summary

I grew up in Virginia, moved to Michigan, and spent my teenage years bullied, lonely, and drowning in depression and anxiety. In middle school, I even turned to self‑harm, then spiraled into New Age and witchcraft practices—Ouija boards, tarot cards, spells. But in summer 2019, terrified before wisdom‑tooth surgery, I prayed for God’s protection. He answered—leading me to admit faith, get my first Bible, and invite Jesus in. That first church visit on January 5, 2020 transformed me: fear lifted, hope restored, and I finally felt at home in Christ.
