Summary
I grew up in Virginia, moved to Michigan, and spent my teenage years bullied, lonely, and drowning in depression and anxiety. In middle school, I even turned to selfβharm, then spiraled into New Age and witchcraft practicesβOuija boards, tarot cards, spells. But in summer 2019, terrified before wisdomβtooth surgery, I prayed for Godβs protection. He answeredβleading me to admit faith, get my first Bible, and invite Jesus in. That first church visit on January 5, 2020 transformed me: fear lifted, hope restored, and I finally felt at home in Christ.
