Summary
SummaryβIβm Qi Ming, leader of a house church in China. We gathered with fellow believers to worship and share the Gospel openly, but the government labeled us a threat. π One night, they launched a massive raidβover a hundred brothers and sisters were arrested. I knew I might be next. π¨
My wife and I packed all our belongings and destroyed sensitive church documents in the middle of the night. Before dawn, we slipped out of our neighborhood, got to the highway, and headed for the airport. As we drove, our hearts were full of prayer: βLord, this might be my last meal with my family. If You call me home, that is Your will. But if You protect us, let me see my children grow up in Your grace.β π
By Godβs mercy, we reached the airport undetected. Standing there, I felt His presence guarding us. I realized that persecution hadnβt weakened our churchβinstead, it fortified our faith. Now, we pray not only for our own safety but also for brothers and sisters elsewhere who face similar pressure. Through Open Doors Canada, resources and support are reaching persecuted believers. β€οΈ
I learned that true faith shines brightest in the darkest moments: trusting God when the path is unclear and believing in His deliverance despite overwhelming odds. Today, I share my story so you know that God is with us every step of the way and that no weapon formed against His children will prevail.β βοΈ
