Summary
SummaryI’m Pete, and I grew up in North Carolina playing softball 🥎. My passion for the game drove me into church, but I never truly knew Christ. One night, the girl I was seeing and I made a decision to have an abortion in Virginia, and the guilt haunted me 💔. Though I repented and accepted Jesus at that church, a few years later I fell back into drinking, then spiraled into cocaine, ecstasy, and shrooms. I even sold drugs to sustain my habit, convinced I was on a “high” that filled the void. But one night, after consuming an entire eightball of cocaine, I couldn’t sleep. As I reached for the door handle at 2 AM, I felt the Holy Spirit press on me and heard God say, “I haven’t forgotten about you—I love you, and I’ll take you back.” I collapsed in surrender, asked Him to prove His love by giving me sleep, and woke up drug-free 😴. From that moment, I’ve been completely sold out to Jesus. Today, I own a lawn care company, run a YouTube channel teaching people how to grow grass, and get to share God’s love with everyone I meet. My wife loves and respects me, my three kids are saved, and I’ve never been the same since I heard that voice in the pit of my addiction. What a life transformation! ✨🙏
