By eight I’d witnessed my grandfather’s suicide, and my home was filled with screaming, violence, and betrayal. My dad’s infidelity and my mom’s alcohol addiction left me lonely and anxious. At thirteen I slipped into an eating disorderβ€”starving myself, purging, even battling suicidal thoughts. Yet through it all I clung to the Bible my dad gave me, believing there was a purpose behind this pain. When my father took his life in 2017, I hit rock bottom and ended up hospitalized. But one dark night in 2020, quarantined in my small room, I stared at a picture that read β€œJesus loves me,” opened my Bible, and felt God’s promise in Jeremiah 30:17 come alive: β€œI will restore health to you and heal your wounds.” In that moment I dumped the pills, fell in love with Jesus’s unconditional grace, and began a journey of healing and sanctification. Today, I celebrate freedom, knowing even a tiny seed of faith can bring miracles 🌱✨.

Summit International School of Ministry
Summit International School of Ministry, the Bible School of Times Square Church, was founded by David Wilkerson in 1994. Summit is located near Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Our 100-acre campus is situated near the foothills of the Blue Mountains in the heart of farm country. The school’s two-year program prepares men and women to live lives of devotion and service to the Lord, to the church and to the world at large. Our goal is that students will leave the school fully equipped to make disciples for Christ in whatever vocation they are called to. The school was founded in 1994 through the ministry of David Wilkerson. Since then, hundreds of students have graduated from Summit, and have moved on to work around the world in full-time ministry. Many are serving on foreign mission fields and impacting their homes and workplaces with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
