Summary
SummaryIβm Taia, and growing up in a traditional Methodist home across Samoa, New Zealand, and Australia, I witnessed so much hypocrisyβSundays looked holy, but the rest of the week was filled with fights, gang involvement, and broken families. By age 20, I wrestled with my own sin, partying and knowing Christians who did the same yet called themselves βholy.β I renounced my faith, determined never to return unless God Himself called me back. Fifteen years passed of nightclubs, dancing, and dark places. Financial struggles and marital pain almost crushed meβsuicidal thoughts haunted my mind. Then, one night, as I wept on my wifeβs shoulder, I heard a voice: βItβs time.β Three times it spoke until I remembered my prayer. The next day, all I could think about was a Bible. When my wife gifted me one, I knew God had spoken. My burden lifted. Since then, Iβve returned to church, opened my heart to Scripture, and now share this testimony on the streets, trusting God to draw others home. ππβ€οΈ
