Summary
SummaryI’m Jennifer Alcaraz, and I grew up in a home that looked perfect from the outside but was full of secrets inside. 😔 By age 15, I was running the streets of Norwalk and got introduced to meth—what started as a curious escape became a ten-year addiction. I moved with my family from Fullerton to Victorville, but nothing changed the pain inside. When I met John at 19, our shared rebellion spiraled into even more reckless drug and alcohol abuse. 🚗💨 At 23, John’s ultimatum—quit or lose us—led to a brutal two-week detox where we fought, sweated, and ached. God used John’s encounter with Christ to pull us both out of that darkness. When he got saved and invited me to church on my 25th birthday, I resisted, but God’s Spirit kept drawing me. In February 2010, I felt Him pull me to the altar in tears, and from that moment on, everything changed. 🙌 Eventually, John and I led a young-adult ministry under Pastor Omar, and now I’ve seen broken relationships restored—especially with my sisters and my mom—and witnessed God transform my story. ❤️✨
