I thought concealing my sin made me better than others, until a college bike crash felt like God’s direct intervention πŸš΄β€β™‚οΈβœ¨. Years later, a persistent invitation from Monica led me to genuine fellowship and Bible study πŸ“–. Confronted with my pride and hypocrisy, I couldn’t cover up my sin any longer. On December 18 1988, I was baptized and began a new life in Christ, forgiven and free πŸ™Œ.

I was disillusioned to think so highly of myself, despite my secret sin. This was rooted in my insecurity.

In my pride, I tried to conceal my sin.

Looking back now, I see how God pursued me through different places, people, and circumstances that I would respond to.

When I studied God’s word, I realized that I couldn’t continue to live in the crushing darkness of my sin any longer having known everything Jesus has done for me.
