At a young age, Tairi felt his identity was in Islam. With his family, he daily responded to the call to prayer, cleansing properly, and fasting. But, once his grandfather brought him to Vacation Bible School at a local Christian church, he realized there was a difference between Jesus and Allah. As a child, he left Islam but it wasn’t until he was in college that he truly understood the freeing truth of Jesus.
