Summary

Raised as a Sunni Muslim, I struggled against deep cultural and familial pressures to remain in Islam. Despite a relentless high school peer who never took ‘no’ for an answer, I found unexpected unconditional love when I attended a small, anonymous church. That encounter ignited my journey to embrace Jesus Christ. Over time, through challenging debates over Islamic caricatures of Jesus and confronting false narratives, I discovered that Jesus is not merely a prophet but the true Son of God whose sacrifice and grace offer redemption. My conversion is a testimony of how Christ’s love transformed my life, freeing me from fear and cultural constraints.

† STATEMENT OF FAITH : WHAT WE BELIEVE † The Bible † † We believe the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments to be the verbally inspired Word of God (Matthew 5:18; 2 Timothy 3:16-17). We hold the Bible to be inherent in the original writings, infallible, God-breathed, and the complete and final authority for faith and practice (2 Timothy 3:16-17). The Holy Spirit was the divine author of Scripture (2 Peter 1:21). While still using the individual personalities of the human authors, the Spirit superintended them to insure that they wrote precisely what He wanted written, without error or omission.† We believe that acceptance of Jesus Christ and the corresponding renewal of the Holy Spirit are the only paths to salvation for lost/sinful men and women. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, who lives within and guides Christians so they are enabled to live godly lives.
