Hi, my name is Reagan and this is my story. Growing up in Aurora, Illinoisβ€”a suburb of the Chicagoland areaβ€”I was raised in church by my UPCI pastor father. However, during sixth grade, bullying led me into deep depression, and I began self-harming just to feel something. I felt completely alone and lost, overwhelmed by suicidal thoughts. In my darkest moments, I cried out for help and, through the compassionate outreach of my church, God reached into my life. His love and the support of my local UPCI church showed me that I was never truly alone. Today, I share my testimony to remind others that even when you feel abandoned by the world, God’s intervention and the love of a caring community can restore hope and transform your life.
