Summary
SummaryI am Abraham, and in 2019 our small church in Burkina Faso was ambushed by jihadists. 😢 They separated the men from the women and forced seven of us to lie down against the wall under a neem tree. I survived with a graze to my right hand, but six brothers, including our pastor, were killed. Joel escaped too—he now feels like a spiritual orphan. 🙏 We travelled to another town for food aid and trauma care workshop, though there wasn’t enough capacity to help us fully. I long for trauma counseling to heal my heart and regain my strength, because life has become a heavy burden after losing my friends and becoming physically disabled. 💔 Please stand with us in prayer for God’s comfort, courage, and provision of trauma care to the persecuted believers in Burkina Faso. ✨
In 2019, Abraham* and Joel’s* church was attacked by jihadists. The two young men survived, but the horror of what happened has traumatised them. Please pray that they will soon receive trauma care and know God’s comforting presence with them.
