My name is Dylan Jarvis. I grew up in a small church where my dad pastored, but my home life was full of fear and anxiety because of my mom’s alcoholism. I fell into addiction earlyβ€”at just 12 years oldβ€”chasing numbness through weed, pills, and meth. Despite rebelling, I kept playing music, my only joy. One day, my guitar got stolen during a drug deal. My dad prayed and declared I’d get it backβ€”and miraculously, God returned it to me through a stranger who found it in a field. It reminded me that God saw me.

Still, I spiraled deeper into heroin until one day, a woman prayed for me and I felt lightning shoot through my body. That marked the beginning of change. But not long after, I was held at gunpoint and ended up attacking the man, thinking I’d killed him. I turned myself in and faced 30 years in prison. In jail, I cried out to Godβ€”and He made a way out. My grandma, who was dying, bonded me out before passing.

I relapsed and overdosed. In that moment of death, demons mocked me, but I cried out to Jesus with all I hadβ€”and He pulled me out. I threw everything in the toilet, gave my life fully to Him, and went to a Christian rehab. I got clean, and even my mom began recovering. My charges were dropped, and now I’m pursuing music to glorify God, telling the world what He’s done for me. I don’t deserve itβ€”but His love rescued me.
