My name is Astrid Navaja. I was born in East Germany and, as a very small child, my family made a daring escape to the West. We soon immigrated to Canada, where I grew up in northern Canada amid great hardship. I witnessed firsthand the cruelty of a divided worldβ€”from the abuses my mother suffered as a prisoner of war to the desperate measures taken to secure our freedom. Through every trial, I experienced miraculous protection and provision that have left me as living proof of the existence of God. I share my story in the hope that those facing similar struggles will be encouraged to seek God’s intervention and discover His redeeming love.
