I grew up singing solos in a tiny Baptist church in rural Alabama, but by senior year I was terrified of my future and drifting from my childhood promise to follow Jesus 😟. One night I sat on my bed, opened Romans, and felt the Holy Spirit flood me—my spiritual eyes were opened to an abundant life I’d been missing 🙌. I surrendered everything, even quitting my high-school rock band, to obey God’s call. That led me to start a Christian band (Third Day), and over three decades later I’m still living that surrendered dream, sharing faith through music 🎶✨.
