🤝 “I grew up in a chaotic home—moving schools, fractured family, and self‑proclaimed atheist by 17 when I moved to Oregon. I lost myself in relationships, even pulling the faith of a Christian boyfriend away. After years of isolation, I felt an urgent need for real connection. Driving past Westside Community Church, their ‘No Perfect People Allowed’ sign invited me in. At home, I paused Michael Todd’s sermon, grabbed a notebook and gel pens—and on October 3, 2022, I knelt, prayed the Jesus prayer, and wept as God met me in my brokenness. Three months later, moved by the Jesus Revolution movie and the baptism service, I stepped into the water, overwhelmed by agapē love. Community pushed me from watching sermons online to experiencing life change: praying aloud at work, journaling Scripture each morning, and walking my dog in prayer. Now fully rooted in faith and fellowship, I’m eager to serve—praying for others, joining the baptism team, and sharing that no one stands alone in Jesus.”
