Summary
SummaryIn my own words, I grew up zealous in the Mormon faith 🏠, believing I had to earn God’s love through deeds. At 19, I served two years as a missionary—first in Alpine, Utah, then Orlando, Florida 🚲—confident I would bring souls to “true” salvation. But sitting before a Baptist pastor opened my heart to the free gift of Christ’s grace. I began reading the New Testament “like a child” 📖, and over 18 months, God transformed me from a works-driven zealot into a born-again believer. When I courageously shared this truth with my Mormon leadership, I faced excommunication and accusations of being “deceived.” Yet, I saw God restore my family—my parents, siblings, and then my wife and children—to Christ’s truth. Now, I testify boldly that nothing compares to knowing Jesus Christ as my all-sufficient Savior 🙌.
