My name is Jackson Ferris and I’m from Franklin, Tennessee. I used to be a user and seller of drugs, which led to multiple arrests and a life defined by crime. In prison, I experienced a powerful turning point when I attended a church service and felt the unmistakable presence of the Holy Spirit. That night, I gave my life to Jesus Christ. Through that encounter, I not only found salvation but also experienced restoration in my relationships with my family. My story is a testimony of how God can transform even the darkest moments and bring hope to those who feel lost.

Jackson was both a user and seller of drugs, which resulted in multiple arrests. Eventually, he landed in prison where he had a roommate that was full of the joy of the Lord. One night he attended the jail church service and was touched by the Holy Spirit in a profound way – it was that night he gave his life to the Lord, right there amidst the other inmates.

His story is wonderfully encouraging for parents who are praying for their prodigal child, as Jackson’s were all along.

Jackson is married to Alexis, who was last week’s Testimony Tuesday participant. Watching their stories back to back, it is beautiful to see how God was working on both of them simultaneously to ultimately bring them together and lead to the eventual birth of their daughter.
