When I was 18, my friends and I broke into a Home Depot thinking it’d be a fun thrill—until police helicopters were searching for us. The next day, I learned my friend had confessed and I was facing years in prison. In court, I finally surrendered; then the judge declared me innocent and free. I looked up at the sky, wondering if God was giving me a second chance. 🙏

Back home, I felt I needed to start over, so I moved to Tokyo to live with my brother. One month later, I met some Christians hosting music on the street—they invited me to Lifehouse Church. I showed up curious, dressed in hip-hop clothes, but inside, I saw people worshiping in a way I’d never experienced. I felt something overflow in me—I realized I needed Jesus. That very day, I believed in Him. Four days later, God called me into ministry, and I was baptized. 🎉

About five months after I became a Christian, I met Miwa. We quickly fell in love and were married seven months later. God led us to move to Minnesota, where we connected with River Valley Church. Now, I’m on staff at City Campus, serving alongside people who have a heart for generosity. Because of Kingdom Builders, our lives were changed—now we give, not just receive. Every gift we offer transforms lives, pointing others to Christ. My heart overflows with gratitude, and I’m honored to be part of this mission. 🙌❤️
